Hannah is Head of Brand at Nando’s UK&I. She joined the company in 2018 into a specially created role of Editorial and Campaigns lead, later being promoted to Head of Brand Communications and now currently heading up the wider Brand team in her new remit for the UK and Ireland. Hannah leads a cross discipline team of brand experts who look after product, place, brand platforms and customer communications.
A trusted leader with a huge passion for supporting the next generation Hannah has an ethos of ‘depositing more than she withdraws’ from both the people around her and culture. Hannah has been dubbed ‘scrappy, passionate and a real radiator’ by her peers and team. Having had an unconventional route to marketing herself, Hannah has put effort into creating opportunities and resources for young people for the last six years. Hannah mentors for the Elevate Mentorship Programme and was recently chosen by the Mayor of London Office to be one of their ‘Community Champions of London’ .
She has a track record of making bold moves, career risks perhaps. Making the leap from a commercial role in publishing to a more editorially focused one as Associate Publisher for Marie Claire and InStyle – a sideways step, to broaden her understanding of the sector and get her closer to the customer. Then to leave the publishing industry to join a creative agency, using her publishing background to build their first multichannel content and editorial team in the days when content was ‘new’, working on clients such as Dove, HSBC, Diagio, Spotify and ITV. After winning content awards for ‘First Heat’ and setting up Nando’s first in-house creative team Hannah made the leap to work for the brand in house. A brand she saw heaps of untapped opportunity and a shared sense of purpose and shared values.
When she isn’t working on all things PERi-PERi, Hannah loves to renovate old properties and has a passion for interiors. She is also an avid cyclist and plans to ride to Paris this summer!
