Heena is a talented marketeer who readily accepts new challenges outside her comfort zone. She is currently Head of Trade Marketing, Expansion at AB inBev, overseeing marketing execution across seven countries and a complex portfolio of brands across price tiers, consumer targets and categories. She brings thought-leadership, clarity and consistency to operating complexity while coaching a team of four.
Having created a brand growth framework to expose performance levers and highlight solutions to unlock further growth, her work is live in markets today. Building on this strategy, she is responsible for the successful trade marketing roll-out of innovations such as Corona Draught and Corona Cero, as well as overseeing brand partnerships such as Budweiser with the Palmesus festival in Norway. Her willingness to learn and challenge the status quo enables her to lead with agility and drive significant change.
Having joined AB inBev in 2018 within their insights function, she has held Brand Management roles across their Global Brands portfolio, including Corona and Stella Artois. Classically trained in brand insights and brand marketing, Heena has a broad understanding of consumers and consumer strategy. This year, in assuming a commercial leadership role, she brings her consumer centric perspective to the sales organization to accelerate business growth. Prior to her time “client-side”, Heena was Strategic Insights Director at both Hall & Partners and Kantar Millward Brown.
Outside of her ‘day-to-day’, Heena is passionate about driving a diverse work place and is co-Chair of the Diversify, Unite, Empower, business resource group. Here she activates her passion to create a fairer path for others. She encourages others to have their voices heard and generates ideas to support the wider business, while tackling important issues. She is intrigued by culture and with an infectious energy, is motivated to create a better world for everyone.
