Ian has substantial experience in the telecoms and broadcast industry, having spent 32 years at British Telecom in a number of senior roles in the UK and Europe and later as COO for the Asia-Pacific region where he also held a number of Non-Executive positions including Bharti Cellular Ltd in India and Chairman of Clear Communications Ltd in New Zealand.
After leaving British Telecom in 2000, Ian was COO and a main Board Member of Kingston Communications Plc, a leading provider of communications solutions to business and public sector organisations in the UK. He has held number of CEO and Non Executive Chairman roles across Europe and the UK in communications related companies and was a Senior advisor to PE fund GMT Communications partners LLP.
He is currently an Independent Advisor to PE Fund Apse Capital Ltd and Non Executive Chairman of one of their portfolio companies Ultima.
