Imogen Hewitt, CEO of Spark Foundry

Imogen has over 20 years of industry experience in both media and creative agencies. Her early career was marked by working for legendary agency brands; The Campaign Palace, where she was made the youngest Media Director in the country and Naked Communications where, over several years, she held the roles of Head of Communications Planning Australia, National Commercial Director Australia and Managing Partner SEA.

In 2014 Imogen Joined Havas Media as Head of Strategy, becoming Chief Strategy Officer in 2016. In this role she led the strategy team for Havas Media group whilst simultaneously holding the position of Joint Executive Strategy Director at Havas Creative Group. In 2017 Imogen assumed responsibility for the Havas Media Australia Group of companies as Group Managing Director where she was instrumental in bringing media, creative, digital and data thinking together to form the Havas Village as well as running the media group P&L across Data & Analytics, Sports & Entertainment, Traditional & Performance Media.

2020 saw Imogen join the Publicis group as CEO of Spark Foundry where she is tasked with delivering the merger of two of Australia’s most respected agency brands whilst accelerating the agency’s growth and nurturing people and culture.

Imogen has received a lot of recognition from the industry, which she considers to be amongst her career highlights. In 2017 Imogen was named both B&T’s Strategist of the Year 2017 and Woman of the Year 2017; Campaign Asia named her on the 2017 and 2020 ‘Woman to Watch’ list and she was honoured to represent Australia as awarding judge for the Cannes Media Lions. In 2018 and 2019 Imogen was recognised on the Women in Media Power list in positions 8, and 15 respectively.

Beyond her professional achievements Imogen is mum to two girls who serve as both fuel for her ongoing commitment to diversity & inclusion and reality check on the things that really matter.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
