Jacqui Purcell, National Head of Planning – Starcom Australia

Jacqui is the National Head of Planning at Starcom Australia, where she leads a dynamic community of 35 planning experts. As a key member of the National Leadership Team, Jacqui plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the business. She also sits on the Publicis Product Council and is an active participant in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) employee resource group for Parents and Carers.
At the core of Jacqui’s approach is innovation. Her innate curiosity, creative mindset, and data-driven planning have consistently delivered outstanding results for clients including IGA, ALM, Miele, Brown-Forman, Subaru, and Visa. Her strategic thinking and passion for client growth have also contributed to numerous new business wins.
Jacqui’s true passion lies in the wellbeing, growth, and happiness of her team. She integrates her skills as a certified yoga teacher and meditation guide to foster a culture of mindfulness, balance, and productivity within her team.
With over 17 years of experience in the marketing and media industries, Jacqui has worked both on the agency and publisher side across diverse sectors, including FMCG, automotive, telecommunications, retail, and technology. Her experience spans across all key areas—investment, account service, and planning roles within major holding companies, as well as serving as a General Manager at full-service independent agency.
Outside of work, Jacqui is a proud mum, step-mum, and avid beach lover. She’s also a dedicated yogi and podcast addict and loves nothing more than a day at the beach with her family

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
