Jamie Rutherford, Global Strategy Director, FCB New York

Jamie is a Global Strategy Director at FCB New York. He is a key leader in the strategy group, working closely with cross-functional teams to make work that’s creatively effective.

At FCB, Jamie leads brand strategy across the agency’s AB InBev portfolio, helping to create award-winning work for brands such as Michelob ULTRA, Budweiser, and Mike’s Hard Lemonade.

Before joining FCB, Jamie was at BBDO New York, helping build the Visa & Snickers brands. And prior to New York, he worked in both London and Melbourne, for multiple leading advertising agencies.

With bachelor’s degrees in both Law and Sociology from Monash University, Jamie has always been interested in the rules that shape human behaviour.

And away from work, Jamie is a keen soccer player. He represented Monash University at the National University Games, and was selected for the Australian All-Star team. Nowadays he gets his soccer fix in pick-up games around New York, and whilst watching his beloved Newcastle United with his son Benjamin.
