Jo Boundy joined Commonwealth Bank of Australia as the Chief Marketing Officer in March 2022.
Jo has more than 20 years’ global experience leading digital, communication, marketing and entertainment strategies for large organisations. She plays a key part in the group’s brand and marketing strategies and is responsible for driving a positive marketing culture, true to CBA’s values. Jo is also passionate about the impact technology has on customers lived experiences, and the role marketing and communications can play in improving outcomes.
Prior to joining Commonwealth Bank, Jo was Chief Marketing Officer for the Qantas Group, responsible for the brand and marketing strategy for Qantas’ domestic and international airlines, loyalty and associated businesses.Jo joined Qantas in 2009 and held a number of roles including Head of Internal and Digital Communication and Head of Digital and Entertainment. In February 2016, Jo was appointed Chief Marketing Officer of Qantas Loyalty and later also took on the responsibility of Executive Manager of Qantas Hotels & Holidays. She has also held roles at Optus, British Telecom and Google.
Jo Boundy is on the Advisory Board of ADMA, the Association of Data-driven Marketing and Vice Chair of ADMA’s Regulatory and Advocacy Working Group.
