As Digital Privacy and Programmes Lead, Jo is responsible for defining and implementing privacy uplift across Westpac Digital footprint. She’s passionate about designing amazing digital customer experiences which build trust and deliver benefit to both consumers and organisations.
A diversity advocate, Jo is committed to making a positive difference inside and outside of work. She was a scholar on the 2019 Observership Program and has held a number of NFP positions. Currently a Co-Opted Director on the Board of Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT, she is also a WorldWide Sheroes mentor for emerging female leaders in Pakistan, Syria and Uganda. Her contribution to building inclusion was recognised by the Women’s Agenda in 2018, as a finalist in the Emerging Female Leader in Corporate and Financial category.
Jo is passionate about innovation and human-centred design. Having participated in the 2017 China Australia Millennial Project; a 100 day, cross-border innovation incubator, she continues to play in this space, recently helping the Clean Cooking Alliance in Malawi prepare for a UN High Level Dialogue on Energy in NY through The International Exchange (TIE) and mentoring high school and university students as they explore the innovation ecosystem.
Prior to her roles in product and marketing, Jo held a range of corporate roles across strategic and operational HR in the UK, Singapore and Australia.
