Joe is an empathetic, creative, personable, entrepreneurial, proactive and happy human.
He’s worked in FTSE and micro-companies. The thing he’s proudest of however is his work as the Founder of The Marketing Meetup. Joe created the Meetup as a solution to his own need to learn about his chosen craft and meet other marketers but in an environment which values listening and being positively lovely over sales and selling.
Through hard work, a bit of luck, and the efforts of a tonne of amazing people this has turned into a community of 15,000+ marketers across 14 locations in the UK and US, with monthly events, regular podcasts, workshops and loads more.
As a result of the success of The Marketing Meetup, Joe’s also rolled out his agency – Empath Marketing. Here, Joe helps companies begin to see how the marketing department can be a value driver, rather than just a cost centre.
Joe loves what he does, and hopes to spread a little of that joy through helping other people live a happy life.
