Jon is the Vice President of Integrated Marketing, Brand & Operations at the United States Soccer Federation, where he leads the organization’s brand marketing and creative design services during a generational moment in time for the sport in America. With over 16 years of experience, Jon brings a combination of strategic thought leadership, creative storytelling, and focused audience-centricity that fuels his passion for building culturally resonant brands.
Prior to joining U.S. Soccer, Jon spent three years at Hard Rock Digital, leading brand strategy for their online sportsbook and iGaming businesses. While there, he spearheaded the company’s rebranding efforts, drove their GTM marketing plans as they expanded to new states, and led the company’s first-ever national marketing campaign. Before that, he spent over five years at Gatorade in roles across brand marketing and digital strategy, launching new products, overseeing national campaigns, and collaborating with other leading sports brands on innovative partnerships.
After completing his Business Administration degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Jon began his career in a sales strategy rotational program at General Mills where he consulted retailers on promotional planning, category management and in-store support. It was after establishing this foundational beginning to his career, that he embarked on a passionate journey to get closer to the consumer and their connection to sport.
Outside of work, you can find him either frustratingly trying to improve his golf game or cherishing time spent with the center of his life – his wife and toddler – in their hometown of Atlanta, Georgia.
