Jon White, CMO, Electrocomponents PLC

Jon is the Chief Marketing Officer at Electrocomponents PLC a business delivering support, innovation and inspiration to engineers worldwide so that they can do their jobs and run their business better. Joining in March 2020 he leads marketing across the group delivering strategic planning, brand development, generation of customer demand, and delivery through all channels to drive excellence in customer experience and sustainable profitable growth.

Jon combines extensive experience as a client-side business and marketing leader, with leadership of global brand and communication agencies delivering effective brand and customer experience. He has led businesses both as a general manager and brand leader delivering growth and continuous improvement in business performance.

Starting his career as a manufacturing engineer in the Aerospace Industry he joined Kimberly Clark as an operations leader to support the launch of Huggies nappies across EMEA. Having completed an MBA Jon moved into marketing becoming European Marketing Director leading brands such as Huggies, Kleenex and Andrex.

Moving on from Kimberly Clark into the world of agency leadership he was Managing Partner at Elmwood Brand Design helping businesses across sport, media, food and beverage, banking, and utilities deliver effectiveness through world class brand design and experience. He then became a partner in The Outfit and agency delivering customer and consumer engagement through entertainment-based content.

Jon, his wife Louise and his four sons live in Reigate, Surrey in the UK.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
