Josh King, Client Partner, Meta

Josh is a Client Partner at Meta UK and works with some of the largest travel brands in the UK and across EMEA. Having started his career at Meta over five years ago, he now works with advertisers across all parts of the sector, from airlines, hotels, package providers to domestic travel, building relationships and creating strategic partnerships to help them implement the most effective marketing strategies across Meta’s ecosystem.

Given the impact the pandemic has had to the sector over the past two years, he has built a deep understanding of each these businesses to help them maximise their marketing returns through Meta’s ad solutions and guide them through the continuing pivot towards creating personalised, digital experiences for their customers. DE&I is incredibly important to Josh, having sat on Meta’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion council in the UK, driving forward work with external organisations who are affecting change within the industry and championing underrepresented, diverse young talent. This has included creating an external partnerships directory and formalising partnerships with The Brixton Finishing School, supporting The 93 % Club, and The MediaTrust, all three who are trying to remove the barriers into the industry.

Prior to joining Meta, Josh started his career agency side at MEC (now Wavemaker), crafting his trade across several roles including data analytics, biddable, and more recently in a performance planning role across paid social and programmatic across a variety of sectors and clients across the agency including EE & Compare the Market.

Outside of the day to day, Josh likes to keep fit and can be found either tinkering with or riding motorbikes, having toured the Scottish Highlands, the Pyrenees and planning the next adventure around Wales!
