Julian Martin, Founder & Managing Partner, BrandCentral

Julian is an agency CEO and strategy planner. His career spans three continents and leadership roles in global groups, leading creative shops and as founder of two agencies.

His early career was with Ogilvy and Mather in Sydney and New York. He founded Mojo New York, the first Australian agency group in the US. When Mojo merged with leading US creative agency Chiat/Day Julian became founding client services director of Chiat/Day London, and later Board Director at BBH London, one of the premier global creative agencies.

Back in Australia Julian ran the Melbourne office The Campaign Palace. He also founded Love Sydney with Siimon Reynolds and successfully sold it to Photon Group (now Enero). For the last decade Julian has run his own agency, BrandCentral Sydney.

Julian has been a leading player in creating and evolving long running campaigns for American Express, Tourism Australia, Tourism Tasmania, Qantas, Lynx, The Australian Financial Review, The Australian Football League, RAMS Home Loans, and Channel Seven.

He has a Bachelor of Economics, is AFA/Communications Council Graduate Trainee, and a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s Owner President Program.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
