Julie Bramham is one of the leading marketeers in the world of Scotch Whisky. Responsible for leading the global marketing of Johnnie Walker, a >2bn TM and the world’s no. 1 International Whisky. Julie is responsible for the brand performance of Johnnie Walker: from driving growth across the 180 countries it operates in, creating engaging communications, to recruiting the next generation of consumers into the brand and pioneering product innovation and sustainability strategies. She also led the brand as it launched the Johnnie Walker Princes Street global visitor attraction in Edinburgh – part of Diageo’s £185m investment in Scotch whisky tourism.
Julie’s career at Diageo spans 23 years, highlight’s include her role as Chief Marketing Officer in India based in Bangalore, and leading the Innovation function in Europe, creating a pipeline of new products such as; Gordons Pink Gin, Roe&Co Irish Whisky, Rockshore Lager. Since coming into role as Global Brand Director, Julie has built a new global strategy to win in Luxury, developed a sustainability programme to ensure Johnnie Walker is leading the industry, and she created and launched the latest chapter of the iconic Johnnie Walker Keep Walking campaign all around the world.
Outside of her day job, Julie is a passionate advocate of I&D and has led keynotes across Asia on Progressive Portrayal in advertising.
Julie is originally from Birmingham, but, has spent most of her career living in London and overseas. She currently lives in The Hague with her husband and two sons.
