Kate Taylor-Tett, Director – GREAT Britain & Northern Ireland Campaign

Kate is Director of the GREAT Britain & Northern Ireland Campaign, the UK government’s flagship marketing campaign, designed to encourage an international audience to visit, study, trade and invest in the UK. In FY22/23, GREAT returned over £15 to the UK economy for every £1 spent. Kate joined Government in 2020 to lead a refresh of the GREAT brand which has since been rolled out to over 150 markets, promoting everything from UK science and technology to the arts and values.

Prior to joining Government Kate held a variety of marketing and leadership roles in the private sector including Marketing Director at House of Fraser and Snatch Inc., a San Francisco based tech start-up, where Kate led the campaign to scale from launch to 1 million+ downloads in under 12 months and secure series A funding.

Kate spent the first 10 years of her career at AMV BBDO, making her way from Graduate Trainee to Deputy Head of Account Management and working with brilliant brands including Sainsbury’s, Heinz, Mars, Curry’s and The Metropolitan Police Service.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
