Kate Thomas, Marketing Director – Aje

Kate Thomas is an accomplished marketing leader with in-depth knowledge and experience across the marketing and communications spectrum, garnered through a 14 year international marketing career.
Kate is currently Marketing Director for Australian fashion house Aje; where she has been a part of the team driving exponential growth over the last three years.

Kate has been responsible for outstanding commercial results across multiple industries including fashion, lifestyle, white goods, FMCG, automotive and agency; across Australia, NZ, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and throughout Europe. With a foundational background in brand consulting and customer research, Kate applies this knowledge to create marketing and communications strategies grounded in long- term brand development and customer centricity.

With a preference for working in high growth, entrepreneurial businesses and high-performance teams, Kate uses strategic and tactical techniques to achieve ambitious revenue goals and desired brand positioning, with a focus on marketing as a crucial gateway to growth.

Kate takes the responsibility of marketing and its influence seriously; always cognisant of what is in the zeitgeist, and how brand marketing campaigns can be used to reflect the good in society and encourage progressive change through who and what a brand chooses to profile and represent. Kate co-sponsors Aje’s corporate philanthropy and CSR efforts, and led the development of Aje’s sustainability charter.

Kate is passionate about developing marketing talent and trusts her team’s expertise; encouraging members to strive for the extraordinary and ensuring wins are always celebrated. Deeply focused on continuous improvement for individuals and the marketing function as a whole, Kate instils an ‘always learning’ mentality into her team and collaborates closely with cross-functional peers.

Kate is a marketing enthusiast and has been a judge for the APAC Transform Awards, Australian Centre Marketing Awards and has guest lectured at FBI Fashion College in Sydney

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
