Katie Fabry, Marketing Director, The Wall Street Journal

Katie is the Marketing Director of The Wall Street Journal where she oversees brand marketing and is responsible for reaching and driving growth of new audiences. Katie’s team operationalizes this work across content and product marketing, focused on amplifying new products or initiatives out of WSJ’s news and opinion teams, as well as education marketing to drive growth with collegiate audiences.

Prior to this role, Katie spent two years on The Wall Street Journal’s student memberships team, where she launched the first student brand campaign, “We Are All Business Majors,” which was awarded The Drum Award for Best Use of Customer Insights in 2020. Prior to joining WSJ, Katie worked in marketing at Clique, where she led experiential, influencer, and partner marketing for the College Fashionista brand. In 2021, she received INMA’s 30 Under 30 award in the Advertising category.

Katie is an alumna of Stonehill College in Massachusetts and currently lives in Astoria, New York.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
