Katie is a futurist and consultant in strategic foresight.
Katie founded Say Robots after identifying an opportunity in the market for strategic foresight that is anchored in a deep understanding of how people interact with technology, culture and media, and what that will mean for the way they engage with brands, businesses and governments going forward.
Since launching, Katie has been advising governments and corporations on trends impacting their futures and what it means they need to do today to prepare for tomorrow. Katie was commissioned by the MFA to write a white paper into the Future of the Media industry and the skills required across the next 5 years.
Most recently Katie was the Chief Strategy Officer at WPP for three years, a role that involved strategic oversight across a range of the largest local, global and government clients within the group.
Prior to this role she spent 23 years at Mindshare. Katie was initially in strategy before being promoted to CEO in 2013. This is a role that Katie held for nearly 10 years.
Katie has also lectured at the University of Technology in Sydney within the Faculty of Business for three years, and was on the Board of the MFA for 8 years.
