Kay Pang is a seasoned board director and corporate lawyer with over 26 years of experience in governance, law, technology, and sustainability.
She currently serves as an Independent Director at Grand Banks Yachts Ltd (SGX: G50), where she chairs the Remuneration Committee and sits on the Risk Management and Audit Committee. She is also Vice-Chair of the Singapore Heart Foundation and a Board Member of The Red Pencil Singapore.
Kay has previously served on the boards of Nera Telecommunications Ltd (SGX: N01), the Breast Cancer Foundation, AWWA Ltd, and Passerelles Numériques.
As CEO & Managing Director of Kay Pang Law Practice LLC, Kay provides legal and compliance advice to technology businesses and startups. Her in-house legal leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, VMware, Cloudera, and Aveva-Schneider Electric, along with earlier practice at Drew & Napier,
Allen & Overy, and Shook Lin & Bok, give her broad expertise in corporate, technology, and regulatory strategy across APAC and global markets.
She is qualified as a Barrister-at-Law (England & Wales) and an Advocate & Solicitor (Singapore), with law degrees from Sheffield, Cardiff, and NUS, and executive education from
Stanford, MIT, Oxford, Cambridge, INSEAD, and IMD.
A regular speaker at legal and board governance conferences, Kay lectures at both NUS and SMU. She is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors and the UK Institute of Directors.
Kay is a Singapore citizen, and fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Malay.
