Kelly Soligon, Vice President of Marketing, Microsoft Consumer Sales Org

Kelly Soligon is a global marketing executive driving multimillion-dollar revenue and market growth for B2C and B2B businesses. For over 20 years, she has built foundational marketing, customer, and ecommerce strategies for Microsoft, leveraging strategic planning and a culture of experimentation to help the business expand by more than 10X. She brings this expertise to her work and thrives on accelerating global growth through scalable, unified customer experiences.

Kelly currently serves as Vice President of Marketing for Microsoft’s Consumer Sales organization. In this role, she is responsible for the global marketing strategy for both the direct-to-consumer channel, as well as the global retail partner channel. Her mission is to help consumers discover, buy, and love Microsoft’s consumer products.

As digital and ecommerce ecosystems evolve, Kelly identifies new growth and revenue opportunities and consistently incorporates innovation to propel sales in increasingly competitive categories. Forward-thinking and proactive, Kelly excels in delivering swift digital transformation to meet changing business and customer needs. She demonstrated this skill at the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis by adapting the Microsoft Store to the new “from home” reality. In just 6 months, she replicated the best of brick-and-mortar shopping in new ecommerce experiences that leveraged technologies like AI and 3D shopping. This transformation diminished the negative business impact of the pandemic’s market disruption while meeting rapidly changing customer needs.

With a successful track record of leading global marketing for various groups at Microsoft, Kelly brings a deep understanding of profitable customer engagement and demand generation to businesses. As General Manager of Global Marketing for Microsoft Stores, Kelly consistently drove the successful development of high-value omni-channel customer engagement and marketing. To increase qualified traffic and revenue impact, she built investable models for demand generation that guaranteed high ROI and customer satisfaction.

In addition to her expertise in digital demand generation, Kelly has significant experience crafting omni-channel customer journeys and brand storytelling. As General Manager of Global Marketing and Public Relations for Microsoft Stores, she led the marketing launch of more than 100 brick-and-mortar retail stores in the United States, Canada, and Australia, including Microsoft’s first ever flagship. She optimized brand awareness for this growing retail footprint through a marketing and PR strategy that resulted in increased customer recognition and affinity.

Kelly began her Microsoft career in the early 2000s leading commercial marketing efforts in the United States, resulting in over $500 million in annual revenue. Her leadership focused on integrated marketing and lead and revenue generation. Prior to Microsoft, Kelly held marketing and sales roles at Onyx Software and Fidelity Investments. Kelly earned her B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Washington.
