Khari Mpagazehe, Group Account Director, Droga5

Khari is a Group Account Director for Droga5 where she leads the Chase Consumer Bank and Chase for Business teams.

Khari joined Droga5 in February 2023 after an 18-year career at BBDO where she worked with a wide spectrum of brand, retail and B2B clients including AT&T, Georgia-Pacific, Unilever (SheaMoisture and Degree) and many more. During this time, she also served in a dual role as the global marketing operations lead for ExxonMobil from 2018 – 2021. Khari is a proud recipient of the BBDO Founder’s Award – an award that recognizes dedicated service, impact to the agency and consistent application of the agency’s People Values.

Khari feels fortunate to be leading a career where her passions for creativity and leadership collide and finds purpose in mentoring others.

Khari hails from Natick, Massachusetts and adopted Atlanta, Georgia as a second home after attending Clark Atlanta University – a Historically Black College and University (HBCU). She moved to New York in 2017 where she lives in Harlem.

On Wednesday nights, Khari exercises her creative energy by singing in a Harlem Community choir, Wednesday Sings, where she has been a member since 2018.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
