Kwabena Agyemam-Mensah, Lead Content Strategist – JWT

Kwabena currently heads up content strategy at JWT, he joined to work across a range of the agency’s landmark clients including HSBC, IHG, Nespresso and Nestle. While being at one of the oldest agencies and ‘The home of planning’ he has continued to sharpen his strategic skills, encouraging and helping clients to explore new advertising opportunities.

Kwabena is a strategic marketer with extensive experience of the entire marketing process which spans a range of sectors. Advertising, account management, market research, consultancy and strategic planning are some of the skills he has acquired over the past nine years. Each one of these skills are used with a focus to drive more effective and relevant content to the diverse audience we call consumers. He also has a strong passion for CSR and believes the comms industry can play an important role in improving many socio-economic issues. Kwabena is constantly looking for and intersection of communication and creativity, ensuring they are at their most effective.

Leading content strategy at JWT has seen Kwabena form strong partnerships with the leading social media channels such as Facebook and Twitter. While being involved in some award-winning campaigns, it is Kwabena’s curiosity and passion for people which drives his work. He constantly looks for diversity in every form; points of view, culture creativity, it’s what inspires him. Kwabena has been committed to driving change and innovation at JWT and has previously held roles at Y&R, MAL/Apple and Ebiquity. He treats everyday as an opportunity to learn something new and teach something new. Kwabena is working to make a positive impact on the world through his work in any way he can.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
