Kyrsten is currently leading the launch of The Flavourists as GM, a brand developed to make the world of plant-based food more exciting and to get people exploring flavours more. The Flavourists has been incredibly well received with listings across major retailers such as Sainsburys, Ocado and Waitrose in the first few months of its existence and is growing rapidly. Prior to this Kyrsten headed up the marketing function at Ryvita, part of Associated British Foods, where she led the team to deliver a full brand turnaround taking it from 5 years of double-digit decline to strong volume value & profit growth, ultimately named Mintel’s No 1 Healthy brand in the UK in 2019 & 2020. Kyrsten is incredibly passionate about leveraging the strengths of brands to create good in the world and to lead teams to believe that they can achieve more than they thought possible. Kyrsten was a Marketing Academy Scholar in 2016 and can truly say it changed her life.
Outside of work Kyrsten is still a huge brand nerd who loves a good business book or podcast, but also loves cooking, finding a hidden gem of a restaurant and is a life long lost cause to horses, regularly competing at Dressage with her horse Bling. A truly blessed home life is rounded out by her partner Dan and two incredibly cheeky dogs Stan & Nacho.
