Laura Brady, Director of Marketing and Fundraising, Worldwide Cancer Research

Laura Brady is a senior leader in the UK charity sector with over 15 years’ experience across fundraising, marketing and brand strategy. She is Director of Marketing and Fundraising at Worldwide Cancer Research, where she leads integrated teams across fundraising, marketing, supporter experience, brand and communications.

Laura has led the transformation of the organisation’s brand, digital capability and fundraising model, including a major rebrand, implementation of a cross-org Revenue Operations team and and the development of a more diversified income strategy. Her work focuses on combining powerful storytelling with supporter experience to build sustainable income and deepen engagement with the charity’s mission to fund bold discovery research into cancer.

Known for her collaborative leadership style, Laura is passionate about building high-performing teams and fostering creativity and innovation. She is a trustee of the Scottish SPCA and Scottish Golf Charitable Trust, a member of the WACL Scotland Committee, a Marketing Academy Scholar, and winner of the 2024 Marketing Society Scotland Inspirational Leader of the Year award.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
