Lawrence joined Warner Bros. as Senior Manager, Media and Marketing Partnerships in April 2016, with a brief of cultivating innovative, category leading partnerships across the businesses. Promoted to Head of in 2019, and to Director of Commercial and Marketing Partnerships, Warner Media, in 2020, Lawrence now leads a cross discipline team of partnerships experts across Warner Media’s businesses including Warner Bros, Turner Media and HBO.
In his broader remit Lawrence is responsible for all partnership and sponsorship output across some of the world’s best known franchise properties, games, films, and programming, as well as driving a value generating commercial strategy across all Warner Media businesses.
Driven by the pursuit of bringing ideas to life and the power of collaboration, Lawrence’s team have developed a number award winning partnerships with leading brands across various categories, with recognition including The Chartered Institute of Marketing Best Brand Partnership 2019. He attributes a proportion of that success to the unique perspective and understanding he’s obtained of the industry in prior roles ranging from creative agencies to media owners, including M&C Saatchi, Channel 5, Yahoo and most recently as International Sales Director at Verizon.
When not delivering world class partnerships (in his own words) Lawrence has active interests in architecture and recently completed a course in Architectural Design at Central St. Martins. He’s a keen sportsman, loves skiing or anything that will take him to the mountains, and has become active in sporting charity events for dementia research.
