Lee Owens is a marketing leader with over two decades of expertise in aligning brands with cultural trends and consumer behavior. As the Sr. Director, Marketing Solutions at TKO, a premier sports entity that encompasses WWE and UFC, Lee oversees a dynamic team of strategists and creatives, driving integrated partnerships that seamlessly infuse brand narratives into the live-action excitement of global sports entertainment.
Before joining TKO, Lee spent nearly 10 years at Twitter, where he played a pivotal role in guiding some of the world’s most iconic brands in establishing their presence and voice on the platform. His tenure at Twitter included the development of multiple award-winning campaigns and leading initiatives such as the company’s support for the United Nations’ HeForShe program. Lee also contributed to Twitter’s expansion in the Asia-Pacific region, fostering brand innovation and business growth.
With a foundation in graphic design, Lee began his career as a creative director for major sports organizations and publications, including the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, and Sporting News. His unique blend of creative and strategic insight has been a hallmark of his work throughout his career.
Outside the office, Lee is a passionate illustrator, completing commissioned projects for brands and designing concert posters for musicians. He is also a dedicated motorcycle enthusiast with a deep interest in the art and mechanics. Lee holds degrees from the State University of New York at Oneonta and the School of Visual Arts and has completed a business leadership program at the Wharton School.
