Lewis Ferrand, Senior Marketing Manager, BT Sport

Lewis leads the marketing strategy for BT Sport’s Commercial premises and is responsible for sales, partnerships and customer campaigns. Over the past 12 months, he’s helped customers navigate their toughest year to date, with an industry leading customer base management approach that’s led to record NPS and maintained BT Sport as the largest paid for broadcaster in the trade.

Despite a tough year for the trade, he still describes his role as the best in BT, only partly because a key part of the job is getting out and visiting customers. That means going to the very best pubs and clubs in the country and getting to know them and their business. It’s the dream.

He’s been with BT for 6 years and held a number of exciting roles within the business. Career highlights include leading BT to a record breaking Black Friday campaign, launching BT’s Full Fibre regional marketing strategy and a viral campaign that saw Craig David live stream an impromptu gig through the BT Mobile network.

He is hugely passionate about helping young people start their careers and dedicates a lot of time and energy to mentoring and coaching students; building their confidence to get work ready through programmes like Apprentice Nation.

Outside of work he is often found doing DIY, experimenting in the kitchen or supporting his beloved Leicester City Football Club. Feel free to ask him about the 2015-16 season!
