Lisa Vecchio, Director, Global Campaign Strategy, Hootsuite

Lisa is a natural 360 marketer with global experience leading integrated B2B marketing programs. She is a CIM Chartered Marketer and currently the Director, Global Campaigns at Hootsuite, driving the strategic direction for Hootsuite’s major brand, thought leadership and demand generation programs across the social media marketing, social commerce and social customer care space.

Lisa loves to challenge the status quo in order to make an impact, with her top campaigns to date at Hootsuite being The Very Big Social Makeover for Small Business, a co-marketing initiative with LinkedIn and Hootsuite’s annual Social Trends report. She also manages a remote and talented team of campaign and marketing project managers (PMO) based in North America.

Naturally a culturally curious individual, her passion for travel and focus on international collaboration has given her the opportunity to earn three passports (USA, AUS, EU) and champion building international teams while relocating from New York to Melbourne to London. In 2019 she was able to live her dream of travel marketing for Expedia Group’s B2B business while leading PR, Brand and Demand teams from their London office. Prior, she built and scaled the marketing function for two tech-for-good start ups in the fundraising and healthtech sectors as their first Head of Marketing.

Lisa’s career started in the USA with Wiley, where she won a Purple Cow Award for innovative storytelling before relocating to Wiley Australia where she won a Pace Setter Award for the launch of their first eCommerce business which became a $3M success in just 2-short years.

When she’s not working, she’s likely attending the latest foodie pop-up events or writing her travel blog www.thesetwoeyes.com. She is also a volunteer mentor for refugees with the Open Door Policy.
