Luca is the CEO and co-founder of Una Terra, a €200M growth fund dedicated to the industrial transition through circular-economy solutions that address both climate change and biodiversity loss.
Una Terra was selected as “Innovative Fund for our Future” by the World Economic Forum, “Top Impact Investor” by Real Leaders, and “Top 50 Emerging Manager” by Impact Assets.
Luca also serves as Board Operating Advisor at Advent International [$100B AUM] and is on the Boards and Committees of multiple Portfolio Companies, and as an Independent Board Advisor at large industrial corporations with solid performance and strong impact focus, including RAB Lighting in NYC.
Prior to his direct investing career, Luca was the CEO of PE-backed companies with over $1B in sales at Bain Capital and Milestone Capital. He also gained business expertise as a management consultant at Bain & Company across Europe and the US, and held executive roles at Hewlett-Packard, Amcor, and Honeywell.
Recognized for his inspirational, purpose-driven leadership, Luca has a real passion for people, developing talent, coaching high-potential individuals, designing optimal organizational structures, and building strategic partnerships with renowned global clients and stakeholders.
He earned an MSE in Industrial Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, an MBA with Honors from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and completed a Duke
Executive Leadership Program. Luca is a Fellow of The Marketing Academy and the Institute for Real Growth, connecting top C-Level and growth leaders.
He obtained the Effective Non-Executive Board Director (Financial Times) and Advanced Director Professionalism (NACD) certifications for Board Advisory and NED positions in private and public corporations.
He also graduated from Wharton Executive Education “Corporate Governance: Maximize Your Effectiveness in the Boardroom”. He speaks English, French, Italian, Spanish, and German fluently, having lived and worked in very international environments across the US and the EU, currently based in Switzerland.
