Lysa has spent her career creating market positions and delivering commercial results for several brands, nationally and internationally. Lysa is currently UK CEO, Global Brand & Innovation at Hotel Chocolat, running the retail operation including trading & merchandising, marketing, creative agency, commercial, customer insight, and all sales channels. She sits on the executive board reporting to CEO and co-founder Angus Thirlwell.
Lysa is also Chairwoman and a Trustee of mental health charity Herts Schools Outreach, co-founder of start-up probiotic skincare business Beauty & Vitality, has held a number of non exec director roles, and joined the board of Superdry on 1st May as non-executive Director.
Lysa has spent 10+ years across CMO and CCO roles in retail including Holland & Barrett and Joules. Lysa has driven results in a variety of ownership structures in different sectors, and has business transformation, restructuring and expansion experience. She has 30+ years experience across a number of commercial marketing, ecommerce and general management roles in the Telecoms and travel technology sectors, working and living internationally.
Lysa is a Fellow of The Marketing Academy, was nominated by Cranfield School of Management and EY in the #WomentoWatch2021, has been recognised by Campaign as a Top 10 Marketing Director, placed in Mobile’s Power 50 twice, and is the proud owner of a Cannes Gold Lion for TV ad of the year with T-Mobile’s dance flashmob. Lysa lives in Hertfordshire with her husband Chris and is mum to 4 children aged 11 to 24.
