Magali has over a decade of experience marketing games globally and working as a marketer and strategist for brands in the entertainment industry. She currently leads the Global Gaming Strategy for Dentsu Group and plays a crucial role in exploring and leveraging the high engagement within gaming communities. Her work emphasizes the integration of gaming into daily life and the vast opportunities it presents for brands to connect with audiences in meaningful ways. For that, she is involved in educating brands about the full potential of gaming, beyond just product placements, and in creating immersive environments that foster deeper connections with users.
Prior to her time at Dentsu, Magali was heading up Gaming Publishers partnerships and Marketing at Google in the YouTube Gaming team. In this role, Magali and her team brought Call of Duty League and Overwatch League esports content exclusively to YouTube, helping them set new viewership record. A big part of her work there has been focused on innovation, and particularly being a thought-leader for the metaverse, helping Epic Games on programs that supported and amplified Fortnite’s in-game music moments including the Astronomical event featuring Travis Scott in 2020 and the Rift Tour with Ariana Grande in 2021.
Before joining Google, she was heading up Content Marketing for WB Games where she worked on launching Mortal Kombat 11, Injustice 2, Hitman 2, LEGO DC Super Villains and Cyberpunk 2077. Building pop culture marketing campaigns with big brands including Under Armor, VICE, Rockstar Energy, BAIT, etc.
Magali is a lifelong passionate gamer, and has built her gaming career stateside, moving away from her home country (France) to pursue her ambition in this industry, in smaller marketing and production agencies before she joined WB Games.
