Maggie Lower, Global Chief Marketing Officer, Hootsuite

Maggie Lower joined TrueBlue in 2018 as the company’s first chief marketing officer. She is a business leader who combines the art and science of marketing to drive exceptional results. Throughout her career, she has built innovative go-to-market models and leveraged transformational opportunities to deliver better customer experiences, robust sales pipelines and more efficient delivery of services.

Since joining TrueBlue, Maggie has focused on transforming the company’s digital offering, brand marketing, innovation and communications strategies. She is helping TrueBlue traverse a new frontier for the industry, transforming not only the ways in which job candidates and employers connect but the experiences they have in the process.

As an open LGBTQ+ executive in the industry, Maggie is a trailblazer in promoting and mentoring a group largely invisible in the staffing world. She is a highly respected leader with the integrity to engender fierce loyalty in her colleagues at every level and the roll-up-your-sleeves kind of energy that promotes strong collaboration and commitment to shared goals. Maggie was named as one of the 2018 OUTstanding LGBT+ Role Models in the Financial Times which is sponsored by Involve – The Inclusion People.

She has extensive experience in brand awareness, market positioning, lead-generation and managing large, complex client relationships. Previously, she was responsible for the strategic development and execution of global marketing for Alight Solutions (and Aon Hewitt, its predecessor brand). Maggie and team won a GOLD STEVIE award for building a new corporate identity in less than four months. Prior to Alight Solutions, she built a world-class marketing team that drove a 29% increase in brand awareness. She launched a global lead-generation platform, exceeding her goal seven-fold, while creating a billion-dollar sales pipeline.

Prior to Aon Hewitt, Maggie spent 15 years with Bank of America, leading development of go to market plans, as well as various strategic and operational client service and support functions.

Maggie is a graduate of Hamilton College and received her MBA from Northwestern University. She is a member of the StepUp Women’s Network and Peer 150 Marketing Advisory Board.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
