Mansoor Ahmad, Marketing Strategy and Operations, HSBC

Mansoor Ahmad is a leader in marketing strategy and operations at HSBC. Mansoor works with marketing and business teams across more than 30 international markets to simplify complexity for customers and colleagues, enable growth and customer acquisition, and drive enhancement and digitization of customer journeys. Mansoor is a translator and a boundary spanner – straddling technology, business, and marketing. He demystifies technology, data, and analytics for marketing teams, and empowers them to deliver customer value and commercial outcomes. Throughout his career, and in his current role, he convenes various perspectives and diverse people together to succeed on common goals.

Mansoor was born in Pakistan, and has lived and worked across Hong Kong, Canada, and the UK. He has gained a plethora of experiences across different companies and functional roles ranging from managing supply chain and products at the US retailer Target, to managing propositions and products at American Express, to integrated marketing and marketing technology at HSBC.

He is also an incorrigible learner and has completed programmes such as a Systems Leadership fellowship at MaRS (an innovation hub in Toronto), and most recently, an MBA at the University of Cambridge.

Outside of work, Mansoor has a keen interest in sports, global affairs, reading, and traveling. He is an avid squash and cricket player and has played at university and intra-city level. He has also led community service projects in South-East Asia, and cultural, environment and sustainability employee resource groups to create a positive social impact.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
