Matthias Blume is a senior business leader with over 25 years of global experience driving growth, building categories, and leading high-performing teams across Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and the South Pacific.
As Vice President for Alcohol Ready-to-Drink (aRTD) at The Coca-Cola Company, Matthias leads a dynamic, strategic growth category for the company, driven by strong partnerships and continuous innovation across ASEAN and the South Pacific. Based in Sydney, he holds full accountability for business performance, strategic partnerships, and category expansion—marking his transition from a long-standing marketing career into general management.
Prior to this role, Matthias served as Vice President of Marketing for the region, where he drove growth across a diverse portfolio and built a reputation for combining creativity with commercial impact. Since joining Coca-Cola in 1997, he has held senior leadership roles across Germany, Atlanta, Russia, Singapore, and now Australia, bringing a global perspective to local execution.
Before re-joining Coca-Cola in Singapore, Matthias was Marketing Director for Alpine, Italy, and Germany at Danone Dairy.
Throughout his career, Matthias has consistently delivered market share growth, built new categories, and led successful innovations across markets. He is passionate about developing talent and mentoring the next generation of leaders.
A Fellow of The Marketing Society, he continues to contribute to industry forums and conferences. Earlier in his career, his work was recognised with multiple industry awards, including APAC Marketer of the Year.
