Max Adams, Brand Director UK, Mars Wrigley

Max joined Mars Wrigley UK in June 2021 as Brand Director HFSS Reinvention Lead. Max is responsible for leading the strategy design and deployment in response to government legislation impacting the marketing and sales of high fat salt sugar products.

Previously, Max was in Mars Food as Global Brand Acceleration Manager on Uncle Ben’s, where he focused on the global re-launch of Ben’s Original to deliver a new brand identity, purpose and communication platform, which launched across all markets from 2021.

Before joining Mars, Max spent six years at Mondelez working across a variety of marketing and sales roles within confectionery including Sales Manager for Seasonal Chocolate, in which he led a business turnaround and then as Senior Brand Manager on Green & Blacks leading the re-launch of the brand in the UK.

Max is a driven marketing leader, who likes to take on transformational business opportunities and push outside his comfort zone & challenge his learning. He strongly believes in the power of the team, and the importance of trust and empowerment to deliver great business results.

Outside of work, Max enjoys personal challenges. He is a keen obstacle racer and is currently preparing for the 3 peaks challenge.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
