Melinda Petrunoff, Managing Director Australia & New Zealand – Pinterest

Melinda Petrunoff is the Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand at Pinterest. Melinda’s responsibilities include building and managing the team to increase advertising growth in Australia and New Zealand, supporting relationships with brands, and ensuring Pinterest is the best possible localised experience for people using the platform across these countries.

Pinterest’s mission is to help people create a life they love. Melinda is passionate about advancing this mission in Australia and New Zealand and Pinterest’s goal of creating a better internet.

Melinda has more than 20 years of leadership, sales, marketing and operations experience building successful digital businesses across Asia and the Pacific most recently at companies including Facebook (now Meta) and Fairfax (now Nine).

Since 2015, Melinda has been a board member of OzHarvest, currently responsible for leading the strategy committee.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
