As a professionally certified Coach and Board Advisor/Mentor her passion is to inspire potential and help build the courage, self-belief and capabilities leaders need to develop their leadership skills and make their visions a reality. She helps clients create a vision of success and work through real or perceived barriers, balancing inspirational personal support and experienced challenge. Her expertise areas are in Customer-centred Growth, Start-ups and Scale- ups, Marketing, Brand Building & Customer experience as well as in Marketing Capability Development.
She is a qualified and certified Executive Coach with a Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching from Henley and ICF accreditation (PCC level). She is also accredited in the Leadership Circle Profile (LCP) assessment for development planning. She coaches and mentors Founders/C-Suite executives and leaders in organisations from SME Scale-ups to Multinationals (where she has supported over 160 global and UK brands across a wide variety of industries and geographies).
Mhairi is a global board director on the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Professional Coaches board responsible for the community of over 60,000 coaches and 140 country chapters. Privately she is a trusted Board Advisor to leaders in companies in the UK and internationally and is a Board Trustee of the Leverhulme Trust, sits on Risk and Communications & Chairs the EDI Committee. She is a previous Chair of the Marketing Group of Great Britain (MGGB), Chair of MGGB Emeritus; Fellow and Mentor with The Marketing Society and a Coach/Mentor for The Marketing Academy in the UK.
Mhairi’s own corporate leadership experience includes over 16 years Marketing leadership with Unilever (UK, Egypt and France) and PepsiCo International, Sales leadership with National Accounts Tesco, Asda, Waitrose, Boots; and Consultancy on the global ‘Diageo Way of Brand Building’ and Unilever Global Marketing Academy. Mhairi co-founded Brand Learning Ltd in 2000, specialising in global Marketing & Sales Capability development, leading as the Group CEO for 17 years before acquisition by Accenture. Post integration, as President Brand Learning, she became Head of Accenture’s Marketing practice (Customer Insights & Growth) until 2020, when she left to develop her portfolio career as an Independent Director, Board Advisor, Executive Coach/Mentor & Trustee.
