Michael Goldstein, Head Of Communications Strategy, DDB North America

Michael leads Communications strategy and planning across DDB North America. He founded the communications strategy practice at DDB and continues to educate and grow it’s facilitation with the agency and it’s clients. He has crafted effective and press-generating comms strategies using a tapestry of media touchpoints across a range of clients including Kroger, iShares, NBA 2K, Miller Lite and Jet Blue. He was behind the iShares ‘Future Baller$’ campaign that was awarded most effective financial campaign of 2022 by Effies and WARC.

Prior to joining DDB, Michael worked at award-winning agencies in the US such as R/GA, McCann, and Noble People, where he has assembled communications strategies for campaigns that have won Effies, Clios, One Shows, and Cannes Lions including the Media Grand Prix for Jet.Com’s ‘SuperBowls’ campaign.

He approaches campaigns from a media-neutral point of view and is passionate about getting people to care as much about the context of a brand as the brand itself.

Outside of advertising Michael competes in triathlons and open water swims, is learning to fly fish, and runs the NY Comms Strategy Club.
