As Global Chief Client and Growth Officer, Michelle Hutton leads the agency’s client experience program and is responsible for its top clients. She works with teams around the world to deliver best-in-class work for our clients and people and is responsible for driving the agency’s growth strategy. Before Burson, she held the same role with BCW, which she joined in February of 2024.
Prior to BCW, Michelle spent 13 years with Edelman, most recently as Vice Chair, Client Solutions, Asia- Pacific, where she led the agency’s top client portfolio and its integrated solutions business including its creative, strategy and digital and data offering. While with Edelman she also served in several senior roles across Europe, including Managing Director, Global Client Strategy; Chief Operating Officer, Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States; and Global Consumer Practice Chair. Michelle also served as Edelman’s CEO, Australia, Asia-Pacific Brand Chair.
Before her career with Edelman, Hutton spent over 15 years with Hill & Knowlton in Australia and Asia.
Michelle served as the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity’s PR Jury President in 2019 and has judged in creative award festivals around the globe.
A graduate of Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia, Michelle holds a Bachelor of Business Communications in public relations and advertising.
