Michelle Rowling, Head of Sales and Marketing – Luna Park Sydney

A passionate advocate of memorable guest experiences and ‘clever marketing’, Michelle is currently Head of Sales and Marketing at Luna Park Sydney. With over 15 years’ marketing experience, Michelle’s career spans traditional and new media, hospitality, entertainment and leisure – representing a dynamic portfolio of brands, with client, agency and non-for-profit all exemplary.

Luna Park Sydney is a rare heritage-listed art deco amusement park on the water-edge of Sydney Harbour at Milson’s Point. Operating since 1935, Luna Park Sydney gives joy, wonder and escapism to more than a million visitors each year. To step under the iconic face was a different world – a vital part of Sydney’s social and cultural fabric.

Michelle is an active member of the leadership team steering Luna Park Sydney into its next exciting chapter, ensuring the iconic destination ever-present in the Sydney visitor economy. She is also an incredible and dynamic leader of people, an expert counsel and dedicated colleague.
Beyond the first world-first immersive experience launched by Luna Park in 2023, there are plans for additional world-class attractions and activations from immersive dining, multi-sensory environments, eatertainment, and themed environments. Now is a pivotal moment for the Amusement Park and Michelle is essential to this next chapter.

Prior to embracing her position at Luna Park Sydney, Michelle worked agency side with McKenzie Partners, led marketing for top NSW club Bankstown Sports, and headed up Sales Partnerships nationwide for News Corp Australia. Michelle holds an MBA with distinction, as well as a Bachelor of Media and Communications, Marketing.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
