Passionate about the intersection of culture, technology and storytelling, Nandita is a curious and dynamic Global Brand Marketing manager at WhatsApp, where she leads Privacy and Integrity efforts. In this role, Nandita has led WhatsApp’s biggest marketing campaign to date across 5 markets including an experiential activation that came to life simultaneously in four countries. At WhatsApp, Nandita also negotiated, ideated and executed a first of its kind partnership with Netflix, culminating in a Squid Game activation around the group chat.
Her hunger to be at the forefront of culture has been a driving force in her career. Deeply passionate about pop culture, she has had strong experience in the entertainment industry, from leading business development negotiations for Korean dramas to shaping consumer product strategy for SpongeBob SquarePants and launching Amazon Prime Video’s first International Women’s Day brand statement campaign. An eternal student, Nandita has punctuated these culture forward experiences with her training at Kraft Heinz, where she oversaw P&L and brand across Kool-Aid, Country Time, Crystal Light and Tang, eventually leading the team on Kraft Mac & Cheese Innovation. Some notable executions include leading the Country Time Littlest Bailout campaign and transitioning Kraft Mac & Cheese to sustainable cups, driving significant value and scale for the company including winning a Clio, Effie, Andy and internal recognition for marketing excellence,
Nandita has a BA in Government and East Asian Studies from Wesleyan University and an MBA from the University of Michigan, where she pursued her love for humanities and marketing respectively. From this, Nandita’s biggest superpower has been blending creative vision with strategic rationale, and she has thrived in fast-paced, high pressure environments by bringing her unique brand of humor, collaborative leadership and cross-cultural awareness.
In her off time, Nandita loves to travel and learn languages (7+ and counting!). She is also an extremely passionate musician, and spends time singing with her NYC choir, recording her own music and chasing every possible concert she can.
