Naomi Gorringe, Head of Marketing – Southern Cross Austereo

Naomi is the Head of Marketing at Southern Cross Austereo (SCA), spearheading brand and marketing efforts across LiSTNR, Triple M and the Hit Network and overseeing the creative services division of SCA. Naomi has this year finished up eight years’ volunteer service on the board of children’s education charity, Ardoch, including roles as Director, Deputy Chair and most recently Chair. Naomi graduated the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) as a recipient of the Victorian Government’s ‘Women’s Board Leadership Scholarship in 2022.

Prior to joining SCA over four years ago, Naomi’s career was nurtured at creative agencies where she led major accounts and highly awarded projects. Her agency roles included General Manager at Leo Burnett, overseeing the Melbourne office and leading key clients. From 2014-2017 Naomi was responsible for the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) account at Clemenger BBDO and was part of the core team that created The Gunn Report’s #1 idea globally in 2017, ‘Meet Graham’ – just one of the many impactful TAC campaigns that she was involved in during that period. In addition, Naomi held roles at TBWA, DDB, BMF, Publicis Mojo and Publicis Toronto.

She is proud to have achieved a consistently strong standard of creative work, having collaborated over many years with Australia’s most respected creatives and strategists on some of Australia’s most loved campaigns. Some memorable highlights include Drumstick: A Summer Classic (the original!), DrinkWise: Kids Absorb Your Drinking, TAC: There’s no one someone won’t miss and HBF: The Quokkas. In 2009, she set up the Perth campus of a not-for-profit tutoring program, Sudanese Australian Integrated Learning (SAIL), while she was on parental leave. For Naomi, her volunteer pursuits are as important as her day job and she is currently exploring her next Board role.
