Nathan Olivieri is the Co-Founder and CEO of RightPaw, Australia’s fastest-growing puppy and breeder marketplace. Since launching in 2020, he has led RightPaw from initial concept to a nationally recognised platform that makes finding a verified breeder simpler, safer, and more supportive.
As of 2025, RightPaw now has over 2,000 verified breeders, has helped tens of thousands of owners find their forever puppy, and lists one in every eight puppies bred in Australia. In 2023, he was named one of Pet Industry News’ “Young Guns” and continues to co-host the What The Bark podcast, sharing insights across the pet industry.
Before founding RightPaw, Nathan built an international career at Unilever, where he worked as an “intrapreneur” leading global innovation. As Senior Global Brand Manager, he created Day2—the world’s first Dry Wash Spray—and shepherded it from idea to launch in ten months using lean start-up methodology. He oversaw a cross-functional team of more than 20, and scaled the brand into retail and e-commerce markets across Europe.
Nathan began his career in Unilever’s Future Leaders Program in Australia, working across brand and category management spanning haircare, homecare, and ice cream. Prior to entering the corporate world, he worked as a journalist at The Sydney Morning Herald, where he published more than 50 pieces across news and arts.
Passionate about storytelling, purposeful growth, and inspiring teams, Nathan is energised by building ideas that can create meaningful change. Outside of work, Nathan loves introducing new experiences to his wide-eyed son (who also loves dogs!).
