Nic, an experienced leadership and performance coach and founder of the coaching and consulting practice, Helm Partnering. He is a trained and certified Executive Coach and Team Coach, providing these services to individuals, Boards and HR functions, focused on specific business and personal goals that create high performing individuals and teams.
His coaching style has been described as relaxed, supportive, focused and challenging, and that he brings a feeling of renewed energy, enabling clients to explore solutions to personal development in a safe and reflective space.
Nic has 40 years’ experience as a business leader, including CEO, various Board positions and a multitude of leadership roles. He combines this experience and his professional coaching practice to deliver not only the coaching services, but consulting and mentoring services. He helps leadership teams in scale-up strategies, pragmatic plans to overcome barriers to sustainable growth, and in building high performing sales functions.
Most of Nic’s consulting projects tend to leverage his background running successful businesses, from start-ups, scale-ups, to medium and large enterprises in the consulting and technology industry. Here, his primary skills were in leading businesses through periods of transformational growth and in business development and sales. Nic has been fortunate to hold leadership roles in the successful sale of four businesses.
