Nicky Bryson, Principal & CoFounder, Sayers

Nicky is Director of Brand and Consumer Insight at PwC. An experienced brand, marketing and cultural strategist with a foundation in business, psychology and research. Her experience spans research agencies, creative agencies and consultancy, guiding the strategic direction of a portfolio of iconic clients including Woolworths, Amazon, Commonwealth Bank, Macquarie Uni, Myer, GIO, Caltex, Vodafone as well as Government and start ups. She is particularly passionate about setting strategic vision, values and practices that give clear direction, set behaviours and ensure consistency from the inside-out.

A qualitative and quantitative researcher she is passionate about cultural and social research, undertaking projects within PwC to help define social sentiment, unpicking the mind and mood of Australians and diagnose what is influencing mass and micro behavior.

Driven by the need to create a cultural shift within organisations and a positive learning environment and pipeline for young people she founded The Trenches, an industry wide free youth mentoring program across media, marketing, creative, technology and consulting.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
