Nicole McMillan, General Manager Marketing, Carlton & United Breweries

An internationally renowned marketing executive, Nicole is currently the CMO at Carlton & United Breweries, part of the Asahi Beverages Group, bringing with her over 2 decades of experience in driving the world’s most valuable brands in marketing and general management roles.
Nicole returned to Australia in 2022 after a 12 year career at Mars holding various senior regional and global marketing roles based in Hong Kong and Singapore. During her time in Asia she was awarded finalist of the prestigious Telstra Business Woman of the Year awards, sat on The Marketing Society Board and was the Chair of the 2022 APAC Effies. Most recently prior to joining CUB she was running the Swiss Listed DKSH Consumer Goods division of Hong Kong and is a graduate of the AICD.
A change agent experienced in driving growth strategies across developed and emerging markets, Nicole possesses an innate dissatisfaction with the status quo, and is naturally drawn to transformation and progression in herself and those that she leads.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
