Olivia Martyn, Brand Marketing Lead, Growth, Founders Factory

Olivia is proudly leading brand marketing at Founders Factory, a corporate-backed start-up accelerator and incubator, where she’s responsible for setting the brand & marketing strategy for start-ups across the portfolio. That means helping businesses across sectors including Retail, Media, Beauty, Home & Travel to launch, grow and scale sustainably.

Olivia comes with a background rooted in marketing and entrepreneurship. Prior to Founders Factory, Olivia was part of Unilever’s disruptive innovation team, helping to launch mass fragrance in fast-growing markets. Her proudest achievement to date is launching babywear start-up MORI into the UK, leading the brand and team to become one of the UK’s most loved, and fastest-growing, babywear brands – with consumers in over 50 countries and a deeply loyal community of parents. Olivia joined MORI after a successful run building her own start-up using a grant she won from the highly-selective New Entrepreneurs Foundation. Her brand, Olive Cooper, manufactured and sold luxury British-made handbags as far afield as the US, Australia and China, was seen in national press on multiple occasions, and earned Olivia a GBEA nomination in 2015.

Alongside her current role, she has also recently launched High Street Heroes (highstreetheroes.co), an initiative to help small businesses get in front of their communities during the pandemic, as well as supporting a grass-roots organisation source PPE for charities, care homes, and even hospitals (sos-supplies.com).
