Philip Forrest, Independent Director

Philip Forrest is an Australian who has lived in the ASEAN region since 1982, and in Singapore since 1991. In 2022 he was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for significant service to Australia-Singapore business relations, and in 2011 he was presented with the President’s Medal by the Australian Chamber of Commerce, Singapore for his contribution to the Asia/Australia commercial relationship.

He sits on the Governing Council of the Singapore Institute of Directors, the advisory board of James Cook University Singapore, and QED, a Singapore-based think tank. He is also a member of the Council of Australian Alumni Singapore. In past years he has served on the Councils of the Singapore Business Federation, the Australian Chamber of Commerce (former president), the Australia-ASEAN Chamber of Commerce, the British Chamber of Commerce, The Australia-Thai Chamber of Commerce (former president) and the Association of Banks in Singapore.

Philip is an independent director of several (mostly Australia-linked) corporations in the region. Previously he was Asia Head for ANZ Bank, and spent 15 years with Citibank in Australia, USA, the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
