Philippa has worked in the internet industry for over 30 years and is a qualified web developer and MBA Graduate. She began at Scoot, building a dotcom business growing £100M in Classified Ads and then Yell as Business Development focusing on distribution with multi-national and global partners. In 2000, Philippa joined Microsoft in MSN and grew revenue by 300% ; she has subsequently lead PR, built a Modern Marketing organisation and strategic partnerships. Joining Facebook in 2015 She continued her passion in building global digital marketing expertise, change management and industry thought leadership. She led a global division from San Francisco and partnered with sales teams to drive incremental sales growth.
In 2020 moving to The Trade Desk, Philippa moved to a CEO position and led transformative change management over 4 years to grow the revenues 40%+ y/y whilst driving transparency across the Internet regarding responsible advertising models. Now Philippa is now using this experience to support other CEO’s realise their ambitions and grow their companies in the technology and advertising industry. To further the success of the companies she works with, their impact in market and their people’s happiness and employee engagement. How I choose to work with companies is simple: they have to be forward thinking (purposeful) , to be about digital advancement (product), to care about people and customers (People).
In her spare time, Philippa is passionate about saving our oceans – she does many conservation diving trips with charities, she loves horses and riding, skiing, and travelling, she occasionally plays Polo, and the saxophone – although not together!
