Rachael is a passionate Strategy Director at Accenture Song (formerly Karmarama) and a WACL Future Leader. She has worked with a wide range of brands that play a significant role in peoples’ lives from charity, government, food, tech and financial. And is currently working with Confused.com and the next recruitment campaign for the British Army, applying her dynamic thinking to lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver strong strategic direction, bold creative work, and impact.
Alongside her strategic role she is the Culture Lead for the newly created Accenture Song, with an ambition to create a new blueprint for agency culture, one that is fun and fulfilling for everyone. She is also passionate about nurturing the next generation of talent, setting up the Young Planners Mentoring Programme to support young Planners and Strategists who had spent much of their formative years working from home during covid. Partnering with the Royal College of Arts, she has also briefed and advised a group of students through a Service Design Project.
She is driven to use her strategic and communication skills to better the planet. Leading the agency’s commitment to sustainability by developing Green Voices, an internal initiative to inspire and motivate colleagues to apply sustainable thinking to the work which prompted the agency’s commitment to Ad Net Zero. Last year, she worked with the Council of Sustainable Business to launch Get Nature Positive and convince more than 140 business leaders to sign up and act. Outside of the day job, you can (sometimes) find Rachael weightlifting in the gym.
